Artist's Comment: This landscape painting depicts a sunny Summer afternoon in the country. I walked along a dirt road, lined with trees and a fence. It is an area North of Houston where a few years ago, I escaped from a company picnic. I enjoyed the solitude and peace, watching the alternating pools of shade and sunshine filtered from the trees, dancing with the wind.
