Description: This is a floral pastel of a blooming hibiscus. The hibiscus is sitting in a pot outside in front of siding on a house. The colors are cream, pink, mauve, and purple; with shades of green and blue; highlighted with pale yellow and peach.
This original pastel was applied to tinted paper. It will be shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity which provides additional value and gives a unique guarantee of the history and quality. The Certificate is dated and signed by the artist.
Artist's Comment: This pastel is of a Hibiscus in a Pot that was sitting outside on the back porch. The day was overcast, so there were no defined shadows, but the colors were soft and lovely. I liked the progression of the flowers in a curve, from the top flower through the dried one, to the new blossom at the bottom. The curve is repeated in the rim of the pot.
